We operate an internal tool called Something4u Publisher that uses TikTok APIs to publish video content from our own websites to TikTok channels we own and operate.
When a TikTok channel we own is authorized in the app, we collect and store basic profile information for that channel (open ID, display name, avatar) via the user.info.basic scope, used to identify which channel content is being posted to, and an OAuth refresh token for that channel, used to publish video on that channel's behalf.
This data is stored locally on our own server with restricted file permissions. We do not share it with any third party, do not sell it, and do not use it for advertising or analytics. The TikTok APIs we use (video.upload, video.publish) only post content to channels that have been authorized by us, the operator. We do not access or store data from any TikTok user other than the owner of the authorized channel.
We retain your information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, which removes the email address from our active list.
